MASTS, POLES & STREET LIGHTING
WHAT ARE MASTS, POLES & STREET LIGHTING SYSTEMS?
A high-mast light is a tall pole with lighting attached to the top pointing towards the ground, usually but not always used to light a highway or any recreational field. It is used at sites requiring lighting over a large area. The pole that the lighting is mounted on is generally 16 m 20 m 25 m & 30 m tall, while the lighting consists of a luminaries ring surrounding the pole with one or several independent lighting fixtures mounted around it. Most units have four, six, or eight lights in the ring, with three, five, ten, twelve, and sixteen lights used in rarer instances.
Street lighting is a very important aspect of any area, road, a street in a campus, establishment, or in a town or city as a whole. Proper street lighting ensures the safe movement of traffic and the public. Street light poles are the backbone of street lighting, and their use case extends from providing adequate lighting to the beautification of urban spaces. Street light poles design affects the lighting output, and there are other parameters like mounting height, spacing, outreach, drag coefficient, and pole geometry, which influence the choice of the poles. These can be of various types like Tubular, Octagonal, swagged, decorative, etc. ANUBHA INTERNATIONAL provides all types along with suitable luminaires, Planning, Installation, and Commissioning.
